My Dream Fireplace

Yes I live in Florida, Yes its a million degrees 364 days a year. I however LIVE for a good fireplace - especially during Christmas. The first time we walked into our now home, I knew it was the one I wanted. My soul felt at peace, and Juan's soul felt the lake. haha! Right as you walk into the living the fireplace is the centerpiece. The house had everything I wanted, but of course I wanted it changed.

There was nothing "wrong" with the fireplace in its previous design, it just didn't fit my aesthetic.

It had kitchen backsplash, a large mirror, and the bottom tile didn't match the rest of the the house. soooooo, I took it all off!! Enjoy the progress pictures

The brick we used was from Floor and Decor: Rushmore

The paint used was Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore

The mantelpiece was sourced from a little shop in Callahan, FL.

And then my dreams came true

Now that it's all put together, there are just a few styling things we still need to do. We are going to remove the glass and add a fireplace "screen". And add some cute mantel decor!
